The HydroTech custom NX8 is especially designed to communicate with all HydroTech, Hydrolab® / Hach® Series 5, and YSI® Series 6 multiprobes. The custom built-in power supply is powerful enough to power all sondes, even with sondes without internal batteries. The communication can be established via a terminal emulator or via the Hydras LT mobile. 

On the terminal mode, the HydroTech custom NX8 supports all sonde menu functions, from calibration to sonde setup, just like a regular PC.
