Special Features:

The HydroTech customNX10 is especially designed to communicate with all HydroTech, Hydrolab® / Hach® and YSI® multiprobes (Including the new HL4EXO® and ® series). The custom built-in power supply is powerful enough to power all sondes, even without internal batteries.
The HydroTech custom NX10 is equipped with quick access buttons (F keys) that can easily be customized by the end user to activate any windows program or to simulate any keyboard buttons.
The custom NX10 gives you quick access to the Hibernate mode via one of the access buttons (F keys ). Once the system is set to Hibernate, the power to the multiprobe is automatically turned off to save power.
The custom NX10 is equipped with a special program that allows the user to automatically insert GPS coordinates into the Excel data files to minimize input errors and increase efficiency.
Using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, the custom NX10 is easily transformed into a desktop or lab PC.
Fully compatible with all Hydrotech®, Hydrolab® and YSI® multiprobes. Including the new HL4EXO® and ® series.
The NX10 is not an off-the-shelf product. It has additional hardware and software that are proprietary to HydroTech.

Proprietary Hardware:

HydroTech has developed and added a power circuitry module that allows the NX10:

1- To have a built-in regulated 8 volts 1 amp to power any multiprobe via the onboard DB9 RS232 connector.

2- To automatically switch between external and internal power connection. The automatic switch happens when the external voltage drops below 8 volts.

3- To automatically cut off power to the multiprobe as soon as the Hydrotech Hibernate mode is activated. The hibernate function will allow the Windows system to restart within 15 seconds in lieu of 5 to 10 minutes restart which saves time and power during field use.

Proprietary Software:

1- Spacebar simulator program via quick access button:

Allows the end user to activate the spacebar function via a quick access button on the NX10. The access to the spacebar is required when using the Hydras 3LT software to save current data to the unit memory.

2- Escape key simulator program via quick access button:

Allows the end user to activate the escape key function via a quick access button on the NX10. The escape key is required by several programs to exit current process or windows.

3- Power hibernate function soft-key program via quick access button:

Allows the end user to quickly put the NX10 to hibernate via a quick access button on the NX10. During the hibernate mode, the power to the multiprobe is automatically cut off to save power. There is no need to shut down any programs. The unit recovers from the hibernate mode in less than 5 seconds to save time and power.

4- GPS trigger program that allows the user to automatically insert GPS coordinates into any Excel data book via a quick access button on the NX10.

5- GPS Tray program that allows the end user to easily configure the data input from the GPS trigger to fit the end user needs.

6-HydroTerm is the HydroTech newly developed software for interfacing with all the YSI 6 series, all the Hydrolab 5 series and the Hydrotech compact series sondes. HydroTerm is fully compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10
